Okay, my bfs birthday is on the May 3 and he will be 17. He plays football, he%26#039;s on track, and he races motocross. I keep asking him what he wants but all he says is me. I reall do want to get him something. I was thinking about maybe sending flowers and a balloon to his school for him but he doesnt really care for flowers. Sssssoooooo, I dont really know what to get him. Any suggestions??
What to get my boyfriend for his birthday.....?
Yuck, not flowers. Get him a pocket knife/multitool or a Surefire flashlight or something.
Reply:Get him a really nice teddy bear and scent it with your favorite perfume. When he smells it he will think of you.
Reply:Get him what he wants.... YOU......
Reply:Apple Ipod
Reply:Get him cologne.
Then you%26#039;ll be happy with him too.
Reply:well when I was your age.. one of my bf%26#039;s was in football.. well he was more obsessed with it then anything... so i almost anything manly that had his football number on it was always a winner... good luck..
Reply:get him a cat for u both to grow with
Reply:How about a MP3 player (if he doesnt own one) or a hand-held gaming system ( PSP, Nintendo DS..etc..)...or maybe if he needs help geting organized; a Palm Pilot ( the Palm TX is the best!) or a Pocket PC.
If you are interested in buying him apparel; how about a nice tough-sports watch with a personalized note on it ( that will be really nice); or some clothing....
Reply:You don%26#039;t say how old you are or if you are working
But take him to dinner, give him a football membership, or maybe a new helmet for the motocross.
Reply:get him something that goes with him like mabe a mini football or just a cute little bear or something that says i love you just the thoughtful things
Reply:get him a jirzy
Reply:an atv/motorcycle jack
Reply:something to set on fire or explode. im such a pyro :P
Reply:ipod nano 4gb
Reply:Get a nice frame to put a pic of the two of you in.
Reply:My husband loves gift cards to best buy. I always get that when I do not know what to get him. It always works...don%26#039;t get him flowers
Reply:give him something that he%26#039;s interested in and something that you really like to give him.
Reply:Save the money. Give him a hug and a kiss.
Reply:samantha , what the heck did you say ,noNO NO do not get flowers , for a guy , guys want hugs and kisses ,and fondling, some want presents like foot balls, baseballs, but do not embarass them , with balloons ,and stuff like that , men are manly men and don%26#039;t kindly to stuff like that, sorry but ,try something better

My fiancee's 25th Birthday, What do I get her?
I just proposed to her in December, we%26#039;ve been together 4 years. I%26#039;ve always had thoughtful gifts from the heart and this year, after the ring, plus being back in school (we both are in college again) finances are a bit tight. I%26#039;m putting together a birthday party for her with friends (I asked her what she wanted and she said that%26#039;s what I want). I%26#039;ll be cooking (love to cook for her and people), but I want something special from me to her. Ladies what would you want within reason?
Flowers are cliche and I get her those as a just because not because it%26#039;s Valentine%26#039;s or whatever. I got her a spa package with massage, hair, and nails last year. I just bought her a dress two weeks ago (it looked so cute on her I had to). She loves Audrey Hepburn, dark chocolate, and a good romantic comedy. She%26#039;s very easy to please, but I like to spoil her. Her birthday is May 27. Gotta get going here help!
PS - I thought of getting her a painting or huge framed photo of New England (she%26#039;s from there)
My fiancee%26#039;s 25th Birthday, What do I get her?
charm bracelet. those you add miniatures on (i.e a mini engagement ring to stand for your engagement or heart for luv etc). n then u can add a mini scroll or grad cap on the day of her graduation n then u can continue giving her cute lil icons relevant to special occasions
Reply:wow!!i envy ur fiancee..what thoughtful guy u are and also pamper ur girl a lot..good going..but s u said ur financially tight so u can skip the gift this time..as it is ur throwing bash 4 her..so y not save money 4 ur future but still if u want to give her something u can alwaz give her a bracelet or pair of earings as a token of ur love..best of luck..hv lots of fun
Reply:what about a huge framed photo of the two of you? or a scrapbook of your memories? she%26#039;ll appreciate the thought much moer if she doesn%26#039;t have to wear the financial repurcussions later. try something that means a lot to the two of you as a couple.. a return trip to where you first met, or put a little note or two from you in amongst her study things so that when she is reading for college she gets a nice little surprise along the way. If you really must spend the money buy her something lovely but USEFUL, like an audrey excercise book for school, or better yet an audrey WEDDING PLANNER, perhaps with a date already written in....
Reply:well depends how much dough you want to spend!
if you have a lot of cash
get two tickets to paris and go have dinner at a romantic restaurant and stay at the Ritz
but if you are that of %26quot;middle class%26quot; like most, maybe like a charm bracelet and put important charms on it.
or get a box and fill it with Hershey%26#039;s dark chocolate kisses and attached notes to every one saying something you love about her
make her a mix CD of her favourite songs and get someone to cater at your house a romantic dinner for two
or if you like cooking then cook her her favourite meal
have a picnic on the beach or on the roof of your house or apartment
hope these helped =]

Its my girlfriends 21st birthday today; how does this idea sound?
Well we have been living together now for 2 years. Last month we found out she is 2 months pregnant with our child and today is her birthday. Quite ironic that it falls on mothers day this year! Anyways I had an idea and hoping to see what anyones opinions were....shes turning 21 (we both know that means NO alcohol)
I brought her flowers and fixed her breakfast this morning to start off. I also gave her 3 baby books I went and picked out.
The BIG idea: I asked her if I could get her promise ring cleaned that I gave to her one year ago for her birthday and she was excited and gave it to me. My plan is to have it cleaned and reboxed and after I take her to dinner tonight I want to take her to the place we first kissed 2 years ago on top of a parking garage downtown (its really beautiful). I want to propose to her tonight while we are up there (we have even talked indepth about wanting mariage and a family) I cant afford a new ring with a baby on the way. Does this sound good?
Its my girlfriends 21st birthday today; how does this idea sound?
I think that%26#039;s really sweet, and it%26#039;s very sensible not to be spending lots of money on a new ring when you have a baby on the way. Proposing at a time and place that are special to you both is better than all the bling you could buy, anyway.
Thoughtful, responsible, and really cute... it%26#039;s pretty much the perfect plan for somebody in your shoes.
Good luck and congratulations to you both!
Reply:Yes, it sounds GREAT !
WOW...a %26#039;TRIPLE%26#039; Whammy!!
Many Congrats are in order!! (Birthday, Baby %26amp; Proposal)
Reply:This is a very lucky lady. No doubt this has happened but I have to say, I love stories about guys who actually make the effort to be romantic with their partners.
Reply:Aw! That%26#039;s so f-ing cute! I bet she%26#039;ll go for it.
Best of luck to the both of you, with everything.

New girlfriends birthday?
Hello!
I’ve just started seeing a girl and her birthday is this weekend for which she is spending with me. As it’s a fairly new relationship and we don’t know each other inside out, I am just after a few ideas to make it a special day without going overboard. I have asked her best friend who said flowers chocolates and champagne. We’ve got the evening sorted I’m just wanting some tips on how to make this day special.
Thanks
New girlfriends birthday?
I know this may sound a little childish, but as you have the evening sorted I would suggest you take here to the zoo. Everyone loves animals, it is a chance to get to know eachother and you will have plenty of distractions to fill any awkward silences and even better you can talk about your zoo visit during the evening. I bet she has never been taken to the zoo for a special date!
Reply:Keep in mind that all those things are consumable :)
So make it memorable.
Like how old is she turning?
One flower for each year, see if you can make it a different one for each year. Just to let her know you don%26#039;t think she%26#039;s just a %26quot;roses%26quot; girl.
Her best friend said chocolates so find out if she%26#039;s into basics or rich and then give her a combination plate.
Make the champagne toast to her. Actually make a small speech to her appreciating the fact that she is in your life and your paths have crossed.
You will definitely have her interest.
Reply:as you long as you just spend the evening treating her
like a princess you cant go wrong!!
Reply:like her friend said
flowers...a rose maybe
go for dinner juz the 2 of u
go to one of those restaurants that serve wine and stuff
give her a lasting impression

Mom's Birthday Idea and Feedback!?
Ok well my mother%26#039;s turning 42 in about three weeks and I am unsure of what to buy her. Clothes are out of the question and as far as handbags and accessories, she already buys her own and I have already given her some stuff. She buys from designers such as Gucci, Prada, Coach, Fendi, etc. I already have flowers on the list but dont know what else. My father will probably take her to dinner. She mentioned she wanted a spa day and I will probably do that as well but what else would be thoughtful? Also I have started to plan her 50th Birthday Party which is in about 8 years but I already have close to 10k saved and I am planning to have it in a very nice hotel ballroom here in town and have guests fly in from all over the U.S. and it to be a complete surprise! The budget for the party will probably be 50k+ but I do still have time to plan this. I am 18 at the moment so i still have time and my brother and dad will help in when the date gets closer. Is this a good idea?
Mom%26#039;s Birthday Idea and Feedback!?
It already sounds to me that your family is made up material things.................
Our family is made out of giving, and helping each other where we can including our environment which means reusing and recycling things.
Not even a wedding has come over half of what you have saved.
We have a good time without the expense, with many friends and relatives.
Use a pavilion throw the party outdoors, dress casual and have a great time find a place where you can pitch tents for the weekend and kick back and enjoy visiting all these people whom you%26#039;ve invited. I think the TIME SPENT is more valuable than fancy designer items.
Reply:that%26#039;s so sweet! can i come? just kidding ( jk ) oh by the way get her some roses.!.!.!.!.!.!.!
[_______]
you should write her a song.
Reply:hate to tell ya but most of the people here don%26#039;t spend that kind of money on parties... any kind of parties.
sorry, your on your own with this one
Reply:Take her to an afternoon ballet or play for her 42nd birthday.
Have coffee afterwards.
or
Invite her friends over for an afternoon birthday get together
with lunch and silly games and prizes.
The 50th bd party sounds great.
Reply:You are 18 and already have 10k saved? You could have this PARTY for much less than this. As a mom, the amount of money you spend isnt what is important. Its great you love your mom, why not cruise or a trip? Moms need and deserve vacations. For that amount of money send her on her dream vacation. (The one she would never spend on herself)

My mum is fussy too!
One year i bought her a voucher to spend in a local beauty therapy parlour. So then she could choose the treatments herself.
Money is tight for me so i saved up each month, think she had about £100 in vouchers in the end. She really enjoyed it, she had %26#039;me time%26#039; away from the house etc.
The amount you manage to save wont matter it is the thought that counts hun.

Reply:How about taking her to the movies, or get her tickets to a show, theatre , do a lovely collage of photos of the family put it in a nice photo frame, { Wilkinsons do some lovely cheap ones }, that would be something she could keep forever, it would bring back good memories too.
Reply:How about a day%26#039;s pampering at a health spa? I%26#039;ve had that as a present with a therapy thrown in for good measure and it was wonderful. Very relaxing and something I wouldn%26#039;t have bought for myself as it%26#039;s extremely self-indulgent. I think you can buy vouchers from these places so that she can make up her own mind when she wants to visit and use the vouchers for whatever treatment she wants like massage, facial, seaweed bath etc. The Spa usually has facilities like a pool/steamroom/sauna etc which she can use while she%26#039;s there. It was a great day out and a lovely gift.
Reply:How about some nice jewellery? earrings or a necklace. that way she will be able to wear it and think of you long after chocolates or flowers would have gone.
Reply:how about a book or cd. when adverts come on tv try getting an idea from her if its something she would like ie dvd, say %26quot;that looks good%26quot; if u start now then she wont be suspicious.
Reply:Jewlerry, Taking out, Flowers, Ordiments, Purse

Mothers, what kind of flowers would you like?
I don%26#039;t want to give my mom roses, because I feel like they are too romantic.
She loves tulips, but she had a birthday a week ago and I got her French tiger tulips.
I don%26#039;t know what to get for Mother%26#039;s day :D
So Moms, what are your favorite flowers?
Mothers, what kind of flowers would you like?
I would like some perennial flowers that I could plant outside, like day lilies or some pretty purple flowers. My favorite flowers are lilacs.
Reply:Hi Devochka,
Sometimes what is really nice is a plant or bush for the garden, if she has one. Two vine/bushes that I really love and smell so nice are: 1. Wysteria and 2. Yesterday,Today%26amp;Tomorrow (don%26#039;t know the other name for it).
-lovely question, btw
Edit: I don%26#039;t know what to suggest, but I am sure there are some good ideas here. Devochka, I just want to thank you for being so supportive of my son. You being there during this emotional time was so very important - there is no possible way to express my gratitude in words.
Reply:I like gardenia%26#039;s, they are pretty white flowers and smell great too. Freesia is also a pretty flower that smells nice. If you cant find a nice flower you could think of a nice house plant instead ? Just a suggestion.
Reply:My stepmom love orange and yellow cala lilies. If you go with cala lilies go with colorful ones, the white, although very pretty, instill a funeral-type feeling, for me at least.
(I%26#039;m not a mom)
Reply:Hey Dev......forget the flowers and get her a nice fruit basket. Nobody taught about it here yet. Your Mom will surely appreciate the originality... don%26#039;t get her a rose !!!

I bought 50 white roses for my mom this morning and some filling flowers , lilacs and those little whities and lavender kinds, dont know what they are called...
I hope she liked it...
Reply:Hi D.,
I LOVE stargazer lilies, but for some the smell is too strong.
Peonies are also nice, smell great!
Reply:Roses

Reply:lmao at Isaballe...cactus ROFL
I bought 50 white roses for my mom this morning and some filling flowers , lilacs and those little whities and lavender kinds, dont know what they are called...
I hope she liked it...
Reply:Hi D.,
I LOVE stargazer lilies, but for some the smell is too strong.
Peonies are also nice, smell great!
Reply:Roses
Reply:cactus....does not need much maintenance :-)
Reply:Pink, white and blue carnations, filled with babies breath. Soooooo beautiful.
Reply:Carnations
Reply:My mother%26#039;s favorite flower is daisies.
Reply:You know, just a happy mom%26#039;s day is enough for me.......along with a hug...and a 5 carat diamond ring!!!!!!!!!LOL
Reply:calla lillies
Reply:mine are tulips but what about daisies
Reply:I%26#039;m not a mum but I love Gerba%26#039;s - they are like big daisies. Very nice and fun kinda flower.

Creative birthday gift for a guy who has everything???
Need some ideas. A birthday is coming up soon for a guy I%26#039;ve been dating for quite some time. He%26#039;s one of those people who goes out and buys everything that he sees, so he has everything that he needs and then some. Plus, guys are so hard to buy for. Us girls are so easy to buy for, you can pick out flowers, candles, perfume, etc and we%26#039;re happy. But what do you get a guy?
We will probably go out for dinner. But, I want to do something that lets him know that he%26#039;s special and appreciated. Any ideas?
Creative birthday gift for a guy who has everything???
Here%26#039;s something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.
Reply:something you make. He can%26#039;t buy something that you made with your love, creativity is VERY attractive
Reply:You dont have to buy him something fancy, you could buy something simple and say its a symbol of your love. You could buy like salt and pepper and say like you belong together or something.
Reply:If you haven%26#039;t all ready, maybe you could make him some sort of scrapbook. Maybe a scrapbook of the times you guys have shared together with pictures, memerobelia, etc. Or you could make him a picture frame and put a pic of you two in it. Or you could make a %26quot;treasure chest%26quot; and put some of his favorite things in it...like candy, etc...and also put some memories/pictures and make some %26quot;tickets%26quot; like %26quot;one free kiss%26quot; (or a million, what ever number you choose) and stuff like that. Hope I helped a little.

How do men feel about receiving flowers from women?
My husband%26#039;s 30th birthday is on Valentine%26#039;s Day and I was thinking about finding out where he would be throughout the day and have him collect 30 roses from his stops along the way. He owns his business but I%26#039;m not sure how he would feel about getting flowers. We%26#039;ve been married for 10 years and I am pretty ashamed that I don%26#039;t know how he feels about it. I have bought him flowers before but it was when he returned home from visiting his dying grandmother out of state. Any advise or ideas would be really helpful!!!
Thanks so much.
How do men feel about receiving flowers from women?
Most Guys don%26#039;t like getting flowers as a gift.
It is too degrading.
Get him a leather Jacket.
Reply:if i sent my husband flowers at work he would kill me i think, give him thirty pairs of panties and tell him to collect the reward one by one, any time he likes,
Reply:I%26#039;ve recieved flowers before and just don%26#039;t excited about them AT A L L. That%26#039;s just the way we%26#039;re wired. The thought is apprciated, but an alternitive would be a better gift.
I would rather my wife spend the money on a nice dinner or intimate appearal with a hot date invitation in a card.
Reply:I don%26#039;t know about other men, but I find it embarrassing. I don%26#039;t know why, but I just feel that way.

why not make him some cookies and some cupcakes and send them to his work... :)
Reply:some like it but most don%26#039;t. i sent my man flowers for out first anniversary and he said they were nice but i could tell that he could really care less for them. turns out it was just a waste of money and i won%26#039;t do it again.

Reply:someone has ask that ?..before and i even considered maybe i should send my man flowers to..its is a sweet idea..but what i gather from men..is that some like it and some dont..like someone said if your man is comfortable in his skin..he will like it..but also i think that its not really a big deal for them like it is for us..we are like OMG..honey i love it and thats all we need..but with a man he will be like thanks babe..and thats it..you know what i mean...if you are going to send flowers..also include maybe tickets to his favoite team..keys to a hotel room that you booked..something to go with the flowers..understand..i just might take my own advice.......i swear this vday is soo hard for me to..i dont know what to do..i would like to do something different..you know..something..least unexpected...something to blow his mind away....he is romantic and i am romantic..so this is hard..ahhhh...i guess i%26#039;ll figure it out.....but goood luck to you..
ps..after vday..post to us how it went..i will try to remember your name..so i can check
Reply:That%26#039;s a very sweet idea but I think it really depends on several factors. One, does he like flowers? And two (and in my opinion, the most important), will it be an inconvenience to him? It may be a romantic idea, but if it inconveniences him, it will be remembered as a bad idea that was cute, but a pain (at best), and an inconsiderate, poorly thought-out idea (or worse). You%26#039;ve been married 10 years, and if you aren%26#039;t sure how this would go over, I%26#039;d leave experimentation for something that has no effect on his job.
A man%26#039;s job is usually his No. 1 or nearly top priority. He may resent you imposing your will on that space, even if the gesture is %26quot;nice.%26quot;
Reply:If he loves you the way you obviously love him he would love any gift you get him. I think its a good idea but it would be even better if those flowers lead to something else like a dinner you have prepared or the tub filled with hot water. Be creative and don%26#039;t let anything discourage you. All the man wants is to know is that you love him.
Reply:Let me tell you honestly what I would think about it...I%26#039;d know you meant well but I%26#039;d prefer you to cook me something nice. I%26#039;m not a lady. This is just one man%26#039;s opinion though.
Reply:Not crazy about it. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer to be the sender not the sendee.
Reply:I don%26#039;t think flowers mean as much for a man.
I%26#039;d go with a plant for his office or something else like a nice desk set.
I received a desk set (Blotter etc..) and enjoyed it very much.
You could also include a picture of you and him in a nice frame.
That would be the way I%26#039;d go
Reply:I%26#039;d rather have a blow_job. Flowers are for women.
Reply:If he is not one of those %26quot;IM TOO MANLY FOR THIS OR THAT%26quot;, and he is secure about himself, then he would love them. Its the thought that will make him happy.
Reply:I think most men would be touched by it but at the same time be a little embarrassed if they received them at work or some other public place. Would your husband feel this way?
Reply:Flowers are for women. In my opinion, I think it would be somewhat emasculating for a man to receive flowers, especially collecting them throughout the day in front of his staff.
Reply:Guys aren%26#039;t into flowers. It goes like this: he gives you something on v-day, and he gets laid.
Reply:i actually answered this question as part of another answer i gave last week. giving flowers to a guy is like feeding caviar to a hog. he%26#039;ll just use them to scratch himself. candy is good, though. sounds like he drives a lot. maybe he%26#039;d like something to make that more enjoyable, like an ipod or a gift certificate for his favorite restaurant. he%26#039;s 30 so food has probably become more enjoyable to him recently. he may not even be aware of it. a day off, a massage, a couple of beers and your affection would probably make his day.
Reply:If he had a choice, I would say not so much. He would be much more receptive if you went downstairs and gave him an oral exam.
Reply:Just make sure they are all YELLOW ROSES. Great Idea. He is so LUCKY to have a wife like YOU. GO for it.
Reply:If I ever got flowers from a girl, or even my current girlfriend who im deeply in love with, I would dump her right away. Surprise him, do something unexpected. When he comes home from work, does he usually hang his coat in a closet?
If so, hide in there, not wearing anything. Maybe buy him a motorcycle? those are badass. Besides, from what I%26#039;ve heard, sex is always good.

My boyfriend didn't acknowledge my birthday or any other special occassion, am I wrong to be upset?
I%26#039;ve been with my boyfriend for over almost two years now. I just had a birthday last weekend, and even though he knew it, not only did he waited about half a day to call me, but he NEVER even said %26quot;Happy Birthday%26quot; to me.
Last year, I had to ask him to say Happy Birthday to me. I don%26#039;t mean to be a big baby, but am I being unreasonable to want to hear him say that to me when he is able to send flowers to other girls half way across the planet when he tried to court them?
I waited for several days to see if he knew why I was upset, but when I confronted him, he said he was clueless. So, I told him that I felt that he took me for granted. I really didn%26#039;t want anything from him. Even a texted messaged that day would have been fine. He in return asked if I was happy with him and that if it was really his job to do anything on that day for me? I just think it%26#039;s natural to want to be treated special from the person that claims that he loves you during special occassions.

Reply:believe it or not, there are some guys who just don%26#039;t know how to treat a girl...especially if they have not been taught.
You either need to %26quot;teach%26quot; him how to treat you, accept the way he is, or move on. If he%26#039;s like this now, it won%26#039;t get any better should you ever marry him. He should be doing whatever to try to impress you....and he%26#039;s not being impressive.

Reply:That is typical guy behavior. They have to practice that stuff sometimes. Yes you have a right to be upset.

Too soon for flowers???
Ok, I meet this woman a little over a month ago, and just really started talking to her about a week ago, she seems interested but due to certain factors not ready to go out, I have offered a few different options over the past week when I see her, but so far no go. I asked her when her birthday was, and she told me that it was a few weeks ago. I was thinking about getting her some flowers as sort of a belated b-day gift, is that a bad idea????
Too soon for flowers???
no! woman love flowers, well at least most do and I think she%26#039;ll see it as a sweet and romantic gesture. Its never to early for flowers.
Reply:no it%26#039;s never to soon!!! it%26#039;s a nice way of letting her know you are interested in her!!

What should I get my girlfriend for her birthday?
Me and my girlfriend have been together for a little over a month now and her birthday is in August. When august hits it will have been a little over our 2 month, so we haven%26#039;t been going out for long but I really do like her and I want to show just how much I do. We%26#039;re both 16 years old (well she will be turning 16) and I have seriously almost no idea what to get her. I was thinking flowers, but that is so so so cliche. Maybe flowers and a necklace? I know her favorite color is blue so maybe get her a large boquet of flowers and then get a necklace with a blue stone in it, that should be good... but I really don%26#039;t know what to get. Any ideas anyone? and she is my first ever REAL girlfriend I%26#039;ve been with other chicks but never anything serious, so how should I go about giving her these gifts anyhow? I want to make it the most perfect moment ever for her. and I don%26#039;t want to just hand her the stuff. So girls (and guys if you want) give me some tips here. Thanks.
What should I get my girlfriend for her birthday?
flowers candies teddy bear, yes the blue flowers and blue stone sounds great.
Reply:You should go to the flower shop and ask them to make you a bouquet of blue flowers with red, and a cute card that you can even make your self, you can also get her a bracelet.
Reply:I would love if my boyfriend to me to the spa. We could get massages or facials together and that would be terrific. Any girl would love this and I%26#039;m sure she would be so suprised because usually men are so macho they wont go anywhere near a spa eventhough they are always welcome.
Reply:Get her a cute necklace - nothing too serious, since you have only been together for a month, but girls love jewelry and it would be really sweet. Go for sterling slilver or something similar.
Reply:When I was 16 my boyfriend at the time got me a bracelet and a giant hershey kiss. I loved it!
Reply:get her a bracelet or a necklace with a little blue stone in it or you could get he a piece of jewelry with something ingraved in it that would be so sweet
Reply:I really think the flowers and necklace idea is good..
Sometimes you can get a set of a necklace, earrings, and a bracelet in the same kinda box or something...you could get an aquamarine stone or some kinda accent in it.Im a girl and my fave color is blue too so I know that I would like this!!Also for a tear moment.... get her a really sweet card and a fake rose and say that like a fake flower u hope that yalls love will never die or something lol... hope that helps!!!
Reply:idk, but u should put a road flare on her birthday cake!
Reply:a silver locket that holds two pics,
Reply:I would ask her parents and see if you can get her a puppy or kitten!! =] MY BF got me a kitten one time as a present! lol
Reply:Your present idea sounds good! Ask her parents if you two can go out to eat or something.......she would probably like that!
Reply:make sure you wrap the gift. Pick out cute blue happy birthday paper and get more then one gift get lots of little things that would make her smile and that she would like and leave the gifts all different places so that she gets a gift every hour or something and then when you are with her give her the necklace and flowers so that way she will not exspect anything else from you when you see her. and a nice note or letter would be nice.
Reply:Well, depending on where you live, mabe you can take her to the beach and watch the sunset etc. Or, just ask her what she wants to get an idea.
Hope this helps!
Reply:thats fine im sure she will love that
Reply:CHOCOLATE!!!!!and flowers!
Reply:Your present will be great, trust me she will love it. I wish my bf did that kinda stuff for me. GOOD LUCK
Reply:Find out from someone what she wants for her birthday and get her something she wants that you can afford. Or you could be romantic and take her to her favorite resturant and afterwards walk around outside under the stars then give her a necklace or something.

I was awful to my parents on my birthday. how do i apologize?
okay, so it%26#039;s the day of my birthday and pretty much the minute i came home, everyone seemed to be down/depressed/in a bad mood. we went out to %26#039;birthday dinner%26#039; and no one said a word. in fact, when the lady asked if we had any birthdays today, my dad said no until my mom reminded him that it was my birthday. anyways, after that silent dinner my mom pulled the whole, sorry everyone%26#039;s in a bad mood. it%26#039;s just work...
so i cried on the way home because i felt like no one cared.
the problem is, when i got home, there were flowers and a cake on the table, and some presents. i was still in a bad mood but i said thanks tried to act like i meant it because i felt bad.
anyways, they can tell i%26#039;m not happy at all and i feel awful because they went thru the trouble of putting that whole thing together for me. what do i do to make it up to them?
I was awful to my parents on my birthday. how do i apologize?
It sounds like they went through a lot of trouble to surprise you by pretending to be in bad moods and then surprising you with gifts and a cake and flowers. I guess they learned their lesson, huh? Maybe next year they will do it differently.
Reply:be like: yo yo ma im sorry forrshiz
Reply:you have already apologized - i don%26#039;t know how old YOU are, but your parents are adults - and they should KNOW you are sorry, and i bet they do - they are sorry as well - don%26#039;t be sad; just try to get over this unfortunate situation - maybe buy a card that says %26quot;I%26#039;m sorry, i luv u both%26quot; and then just let it go - you%26#039;ll have another b-day next year! good luck!
Reply:Sounds like they should apologize to you. Try to find out what is making them so depressed - tell them you are sorry you cried but that you thought no one cared.

Girlfriend Birthday ideas. Please help!!!!?
I%26#039;am 20 livin in Hollywood CA, i%26#039;ve datin my girl for 3 years now and her birthday is comin on june 19th. Every guy knows he has to top his last year present ex: Guy buys his girl roses and jelewry worth $100 next year he has to do better. Last year i got het Victoria Secret Card, flowers, necklace, and took her to a cabin by the lake and made dinner for her. I dont have any ideas for this year , please help
Girlfriend Birthday ideas. Please help!!!!?
You just screwed yourself right in the ... with last year%26#039;s birthday. Man, young guys just dont know how to pace themselves these days! Not really.
Actually, as you get older you realize that this year doesnt have to top last year in expense, adventure, or extravagance, it just has to top it in thoughtfulness. 3 years is quite a bit of time. Take her somewhere sentimental, maybe your first date, some place she wishes she could always go, something she has always wanted to do.
If you cant get something for her, try something just outright romantic or adventurous. Obviously dont take your quite, romantic girlfriend on a Egyptian adventure, or your adventurous girlfriend somewhere quite and romantic. Skydiving, scuba diving, muff diving, just to name a few adventurous birthdays.
Seriously, stay away from the jewlery. What are you gonna get her on your 5th anniversary, a plane?
Good luck!
Reply:Wow, sounds like a really nice time. If she enjoyed it do it again. Why not sounds wonderful!!
Reply:You DON%26#039;T HAVE to top everything every year. its pratically not possible. i mean last year u tak her to a cabin, then hotel, then worlds #1 hotel, then where do u take her thats better? YOU CANT. my advice: cook dinner for her (chix luv that), a few flowers (not to many) and a giftcard to somewhere.
Reply:Make her a birthday card. You will be absolutely stunned by the sentimentality( of such). The whole outlook of this is such: You took the time to construct,write,fold,color,write,simulat... etc. instead of a half-assed/forgotten last minute birthday card. Forgo an expensive gift/dinner, or both, which you will be %26quot;put-out%26quot; by after wards. We do not want that. Especially when you despise us for having to spend so much $ on us for our own self worth. (independent girls = less burden)
Reply:take her out alone to a quiet place by her twice the roses you bought her last year and jewlery
or take her out of state to a beautiful romantic place!
=)
Reply:Set up something nice and have some one play a joke and when she is really pissed then ask her to marry you...see what that does...
Reply:Damn baby that is gonna be hard to top. I would of been putty in your hands. Maybe an engagement ring ?
Reply:take her to sky diving
Romantic get away
Surprise party
Depend on what she likes, someone bought me a language course and I loved it.
Reply:this time take her to nice and quite place where u can spend some time wid her .have a nice dinner . talk to her and express ur feelings to her. this will make her happy. if u wanna give a gift then its ur choice.
Reply:Hi,
Why not do something fun like swim with the dolphins in the daytime and visit and rescue site for sea creatures. Then at night take her out to swanky restaurant like The Belair in Beverely Hills. Check it out first we were there 35 years ago on our honeymoon, so I don%26#039;t even know if it%26#039;s still open!
A helicoptor ride would be fun and exciting. Then go have a picnic somewhere.
Good luck.
Reply:dude, you did way too much for her last year and you%26#039;re wrong in the sense that you have to keep topping it. i have a lot of girls as friends and they always tell me that they%26#039;d rather their boyfriends did something special than to spend money on them. istead of the gift card, you could have taken her to pick something out, like a shopping spree. and instead of buying flowers, you could have picked some. the necklace was overboard. think of something fun and exciting that you can experience together...someone mentioned sky diving. i was going to suggest the same thing--she%26#039;ll never forget it and it%26#039;ll cost way less than last year. or take her to vegas...you%26#039;re too young too gamble, but you can still have a lot of fun. maybe, you can rent a boat for the weekend and organize it so her friends all go with her to the lake to celebrate her birthday. be creative, it%26#039;s not how much you spend it%26#039;s the experience. good luck
Reply:Be romantic, Take her to a local Hotel thats all posh and stuff. Find out her birth stone and buy her a ring with it. Have flowers ready, chocolates. (Since everything has to be better next year, don%26#039;t make this too good for next year!).
You could see what she likes or where she likes to go, and do it. You%26#039;ll be right.
Reply:ask her if there%26#039;s anything she has in mind first. take her to dinner or make dinner then have romantic evening with all the details: bubblebath, flowers on the bed, all that mushy stuff. no matter what you gave her last year, an engagement ring will probably make her happier

make her a card
make a photo album of her+ me over the years
buy some flowers + mabye a bear
give her a facail, manicure
make her a cd with her favourite songs
bake cookies or make a cake
draw or paint a portrait of her
what you think? im still gonna feel bad though because its not expensive
40th birthday #2?
sounds like all the time and effort your going to put into all these things she%26#039;ll really appreciate it, it does not matter that you have not spent much money, not many kids do unless they get t of their parents in the first place.
Reply:Wow, your mum will love all of that, all the money in the world can%26#039;t buy the happiness you%26#039;ll bring to your mum on her 40th.
Reply:if I was a mom and I reieved this it would be more valuable than money I mean you mean it from your heart right and thats what counts all of those things as a mom I think she will love them
Reply:Your mum%26#039;s going to love it. These things are all so personal. You can%26#039;t buy that.
Reply:I always feel bad when i cant afford to buy my mum something nice, im only 14 im not old enough to get a job so i always have to ask her for money.
I once did 16 drawings for her, put them all in a folder from smiths and tied it all up in ribbon and she really liked it, why not try that?
Reply:I think she will love anything that you get her or make her you have put effot in. well done she will be gratefull. dont feel bad
Reply:if my daughter did for my 40th half of wot ur doing for ur mums 40th then i would feel on top of the world bcoz money isn%26#039;t everything but a childes love and affection is and there is nothing to feel bad about
Reply:That sounds wonderful! The expense in money is not what your Mum will love the investment of your time and love will bowl her over! She%26#039;s a lucky Lady to have such a sweet and thoughful Daughter! Hope it all goes really well for you both!!
Reply:oooh that is sooooo nice, wish you were my little girl, I would LOVE a present just like that........... That present is so much more precious than anything money could buy
Reply:money doesnt matter! your mother will realise the effort you have put it and to her it wont matter what you get her!
shes knows @ 15 you will be short of dosh!
another idea! get family members to record a message on a video camera if you have one, something which can be treasured for ever
Reply:you could buy her jewelry. or a teddy bear that says i love you.
Reply:HEY - i am a Mum who is 40 in the next fortnight and if any of my kids went to this effort I would be overwhelmed - good for you as all your ideas come from the heart and that is all your Mum is looking for - I swear if you bought her a cream egg and made a box for it she would love it more than any expensive spa weekend - trust me I am there and I know what I am talking about!!!

Help for girlfriends birthday please..?
For my girlfriends birthday I%26#039;m gonna get her some tickets to a concert. but someone on here said a should use the 5 senses as gifts.
I.E...
SIGHT: make yourself look nice for her
TOUCH: a nice massage
TASTE: Dinner at a resturant
SMELL: Some nice flowers
and HEARING would be the tickets.
Thing is, I%26#039;m not to keen on the sight one. have anyone got anymore suggestions. Her birthday is next week.
Thanks
Help for girlfriends birthday please..?
Someone did that for me on Valentines Day and it was great. I loved it. The sight was my favorite movie on DVD!! Try that one.
My Gift%26#039;s were:
Sight: Favorite movie on DVD
Touch: stuff animal.
Taste: Chocolate
Smell: perfume and candles
Hearing: CD of different artist that they made.
I loved every bit of it.
Reply:Look yourself, use the style that you like, just make a bit more effort to impress her a.k.a look tidy but casual.
Reply:Wrap the tickets in a nice pretty box with a sweet card.
Reply:taking her to the concert and something to eat afterwards would be fab if she is really special get her a wee thing too like a nice necklace earrings costume stuff not expensive something you can slip into your pocket try boots the chemist they always have nice wee novelties have a look round enjoy your night she will love it
Reply:What a fab idea, You could go for sunglasses or SIGHTseeing on a day trip or theatre or cinema tickets.
Reply:instead of making yourself look nice why don%26#039;t you do a spot of housework for her, make her house look nice insteadxx
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t necessarily say dp something to make yoruself look better.... unless you KNOW she wants you to do something like shave, or cut your hair, or wear a suit...
But do something that will appeal to her sense of sight. Try a favorite outfit, help her to see her own beauty, do something that she will SEE. Sight could be flowers... but instead of just getting them, order rose petals and in addition to the massage, place them on the floor and bed, and in a tub filled with warm water and candles lit strategically....
That ought to do it... let us know how it works out....
Reply:get naked and tie a bow around yourself and tell her you%26#039;re her present.
Reply:Why not book her in to a local beauty shop that does specials like a top to toe, which basically they completely pamper her from doing her hair to maninure/pedicure.
that providing she likes that kind of thing.
Reply:buy a new shirt, have your hair cut, wear nice aftershave, clean your shoes that kind of thing
Reply:Well, you should probably also give her a heart-shaped b-day card, saying how much you like, and tell her how pretty she looks. Good luck, man. ;)
Reply:what about senses as in for her, and to complement the tickets, so:
Sight: (depending on budget) going to a movie, designer sunglasses, make up voucher, facial as they put cucumber on your eyes!
Touch: book her in for a massage at a beauty saloon same time or instead of facial
Taste: after the movies go for dinner (and present her with the tickets) or slip the tickets into a box of chocolates
Smell: perfume is always a winner if you know what she likes, if not a perfume voucher, or flowers before you go out for the meal
Reply:buy something nice for her to wear a necklace ? or something like a top?
Reply:Well, you%26#039;re going to a concert, so dress in appropriate concert attire. If it%26#039;s a rock concert then obviously wear whatever, but if you%26#039;re going out to a nice restaurant you might want to consider wearing a collared shirt and slacks. Look nice for your girlfriend, it%26#039;s only one day!

Birthday present?
i%26#039;m 18 years old and live with my grandmother who has basically raised me and does so much for me every day. her birthday is in a week for now and i want to get her something really special. she will be turning 61 but doesn%26#039;t act it at all. i can%26#039;t get her clothes or jewelry because she lives and breathes qvc and gets all the stuff she wants from there. she is sooo hard to shop for on any occasion let alone her birthday. i was thinking maybe a giant flower boquet sent to her work and some of her favorite chocolates and maybe a couple of movies starring her favorites people. is this too impersonal or would it be a good idea?
Birthday present?
I think that would be very thoughtful especially the flowers sent to her work. Ever thought of throwing her a surprise party? Or even taking her out for dinner on her birthday?
Reply:It would be great and means you care.
Reply:i think its a good idea. but if you think that it would be too imersonal.. maybe make her a birthday card that tells her how much you appreciate her

Something besides flowers to put at a young person's grave sight?
My son passed away tragically at eighteen years old. We visit his grave sight frequently. We are looking for some ideas to decorate his memorial. He was a very %26quot;alternative%26quot; guy. He aspired to be a tatoo artist. He was very in to alternative and hip hop music. And he was so funny! He was also very sweet and gentle. We bring flowers, but we are sick of them. He was so creative and full of fun, we want to find something else that is fitting. We have to be careful and %26quot;tasteful%26quot;, because this is a cemetery and we do not want to offend the other families with loved ones resting there. Whatever we come up with has to last at least for a little while outside. Any ideas? I know this is a strange question, but he was the light of my life, and made so many people so happy, and we really want to honor his life. And since he was just a week shy of his nineteenth birthday, we are looking for ideas befitting his youth and creativity. Thanks!!!
Something besides flowers to put at a young person%26#039;s grave sight?
I suggest you start a website in his memory, with photographs, inspirational words, and a guest book. Then post the web address on his marker.
Reply:I am really sorry but could not say that I understand..
What about a small stone angel ? Or would that be too tacky ?
He was young, he was lovely......and he is %26quot;up there%26quot; now..
Reply:maybe be creative and MAKE some flowers or something else he cared about.... out of wire or clay im sure the creativity wouldnt offend anyone.... and if it did who cares. your son deserves the recognition and acceptance from you as do all others.
Reply:Ummm.. if you kept an MP3 player there playing his favourite music it would get stolen when you are not around.. how about putting small pictures and frames of his favourite artists around or making a bonquet of large leaves and drawing his tatooo designs on those.
Reply:My husband and I like to walk in the cemetery in our small town. Many of the gravesites are decorated with statues and pictures, favorite toys and belongings. We have even noticed a couple with small shallow bowls that have coins in them. We don%26#039;t know the meaning of this, but no one seems to bother anything left on the graves. I think you should put whatever has meaning to you and your son. I%26#039;m so sorry. There could be nothing worse than to lose your child.
Reply:Framed copies of his designs, or his favorite designs by other artists, would be nice; and they needn%26#039;t be expensive, so if they get stolen it wouldn%26#039;t matter. (Please don%26#039;t use copyrighted material; if it should get stolen, someone might make an illegal profit from it.) You could make up a few different ones and change them from time to time, just for variety. Be strong, be comforted.
Reply:i tink u shud put sumting there 2 show wat he was like. it doesnt hav 2 be big, or meen anyting 2 any1 else. if he had designd a tattoo u cud get a fotocopy of it n mayb put it there wit a poem or sumting. it wil b hard 2 find sumting strate away that shows enough so take ur time.
Reply:You could probably lay a couple of pictures of him and family.

Birthday Gift for 14 yr girlfriend?
So my gfs birthday is coming up, and we havent been together that long so i dont want to get some really expensive gift.
I was going to get her some flowers and skittles which are her favorite candy
but one thing i wanted to know was, since she loves to read
should i just get her a borders gift card
or which book?
Birthday Gift for 14 yr girlfriend?
Borders gift card sounds good if she likes to read. Don%26#039;t get her books, I%26#039;m sure she likes to choose them herself.
But I would suggest the gift card and Skittles.
I%26#039;m sure she%26#039;d love that - even just the thought you put into it.
Please, no stuffed animals with an %26#039;I Love You%26#039; tshirt on. 14 is a bit old for that.
Reply:maybe a teddy bear, if she likes books maybe you should get her a book, but dont get just a book. I reccomend Twilight by Stephanie Meyers, its a book any teen girl would love.
I suggest getting that book, skittles, chocolates, and a teddy bear.
Reply:if you know what genre she%26#039;s into, get her a book. if not, a gift card is a great gift.
Reply:gift cards are the best!! flowers are nice too!! whenever your not sure indirectly ask her or take her somewhere where she may say %26quot;i%26#039;d like to have that%26quot; or %26quot;aww thats adorable!%26quot; if your still not sure exactly what to get her, ask her mother, or get her a few things like flowers and a little gift card. don%26#039;t forget a sweet birthday card, sometimes thats all it really takes!

Birthday gift for my son's class teacher?
MY kindergarten son%26#039;s class teacher%26#039;s birthday is coming up next week. Any suggestions as to what gift do I get for her? If u suggest bouquet , pl. mention what flowers.
Birthday gift for my son%26#039;s class teacher?
I won%26#039;t advise parents to give teachers birthday gifts. Teacher%26#039;s Day gifts is fine. Then again, Teacher%26#039;s Day gifts need not be elaborate. Not every parent is that well off to give expensive gifts each year. A single stalk of rose or tulip plus a handmade card by the child will be fine.
Reply:I usually only get my son%26#039;s teachers presents at Christmas and at the end of the year. We have found that they really like gift cards to local book stores and restaurants the best.
For a birthday present, I would recommend helping your child make a Birthday card. You can include a note in it telling the teacher why she is special to your child.

Reply:Teachers hate getting useless, trite birthday gifts. I don%26#039;t think you need to get her one at all, but if you want to, get something the whole class can enjoy, such as a board game or several boxes of colored pencils.
Reply:Teachers don%26#039;t want more knick-knacks. What they need is school supplies since many schools are terribly underfunded. I%26#039;d go with a gift card to Target or Wal-Mart so she can stock her schoolroom better. I know a lot of teachers would die for that instead of another mug.
Reply:Teachers have enough knick-knacks, coffee mugs, etc. Bouquets don%26#039;t last--I%26#039;d suggest either a plant for the room, or a restaurant gift card.
Reply:Usually birthday gifts would come from the whole class. But, I do give individual Christmas gifts to the teachers. One that always is a hit? Movie tickets.... Go to your local cineplex and purchase a gift card for tickets and popcorn. Everyone loves a good movie.
Reply:How about a bouquet of daisys? There are sure to spread cheer without getting too personal.
Reply:I like the gift card for school supplies idea. A community close to ours has a school supply store, full of decorations, and teacher%26#039;s aids. Check around there might be one in your area. Another is a gift certificate to the local party supply store. Lots of decorations, crepe paper. etc., there. One to the local department store would give her the option to spend the money on herself, or someone else. Flowers would be nice, this time of year, a colorful fall arrangement, very bright, would be pretty sitting on her desk for the kids to enjoy, too. Talk to the florist, he/she might have a cute idea.
Cash is not a bad idea, enclose a note that says for her to buy whatever she wants or needs, for herself, or the classroom. Teachers do not make a huge amount of money, she would probably appreciate it way more than a coffee mug..
Reply:My mom was a teacher and then a principle before she retired. I know that she hated to get %26quot;obvious%26quot; teacher presents: mugs, anything that said %26quot;teacher%26quot; on it, knick knacks with apples painted on them, etc. A gift card to a store or restaurant would be a great idea. A gift basket with fruit or baked goods is also another option. I wouldn%26#039;t go too much into thought about it. Buy the teacher something you%26#039;d like to receive if you were in their position.
Reply:Definitely get her a gift card of some sort. If she is a teacher, she is probably underpaid and could use it! You might want to try a local department store, movie theater or even a restaurant.
Reply:Either a mixed bouquet, or a gift card for a department store; since that can be costly, you may want to ask the other parents to pitch in and make this a class gift.
Reply:only if it comes from the whole class, or are you starting the %26quot;brown nosing%26quot; early?
Reply:get her something corny that says #1 Teacher like a teddy bear. If you go with flowers, go with daisies. They seem friendly with no connotations.

Birthday Gift for My Friend - Would this be ok or weird? 10 pts for best answer!?
Greetings! I have a single friend that’s a girl, (I’m single too) whose birthday is coming up soon. We’re pretty good friends, but not best friends. She’s helped and been there for me through some stuff in my life.
She’s a farm girl and loves John Deere green farm stuff. She told me all about her J. Deere themed kitchen she has been collecting stuff for. She’s also got J. Deere stuff like lamps for her living room. She’s saving all this stuff for when she gets married. She loves telling me about what she’ll do when she gets married too! And I always tell her, I feel sorry for your future husband (she never says anything to this).
I found a nice stuff-your –own teddy bear that is J. Deere themed, and I’m sure she’d love it. It’s not very expensive. What I’m wondering is if it would be weird for a guy friend to to give a girl a teddy bear, and a simple spring bouquet of daisies, or simple flowers for her B-day? More details in a second!
Birthday Gift for My Friend - Would this be ok or weird? 10 pts for best answer!?
Aweee flowers and a teddybear are the ultimate gift that says i care about you, and its not weird, its just a good friends kind fo thing you know? i think its sweet, and if she loves j deere stuff the teddy bear is PERFECT and simple flowers are just awesome, they kind of say i like you , and i think your great, dont go too fancy with the flowers cause the can give the wrong impression, good luck and im sure she%26#039;ll love it!!! =D
Reply:Aww. If I was her I would LOVE this present.. It shows that you are attentive to the specific details of her favorite things. Just knowing her favorite brand, shows a great quality in you! And every girl loves a teddy bear, they are cute, cuddly, and fun. When she recieves your present she will feel verry special!
Reply:She%26#039;ll love it!
Reply:you seem like a really nice guy, and i dont see anything wrong with what you want to get her, i think its very thoughtful and sweet of you, and i think she%26#039;ll really love it. also, you should give it to her after you take her out to dinner if niether of you are seeing anyone right now because now would be your chance to really get closer to her if she feels the same way about you too. your gift idea was really sweet, and i think that its really the thought that counts, good luck, and i hope things turn out well for you! :)
Reply:Go for it, she will love it!
Reply:That would be so cute. If a guy makes a bear for a girl it shows he really cares. Because I dont think most guys would do that. Thats super cute. Go for it! :]
Reply:that all sounds pretty solid to me... flowers are pretty dependent on how close u are.. but from the information given id say thats fine
Reply:vibrator
Reply:I think that%26#039;s a really cute idea :)
I%26#039;m jealous haha.
My boyfriend usually just gets me jewelry but sometimes i wish he would get me something like that. Like he knows i like more than diamonds..
Reply:that wouldnt be weird she would know from the john deer that u actually listen to her and that u care about her it would actually be sweet !!
Reply:i think that would be an acceptable gift, but the whole %26quot;leaving it on the desk%26quot; might give her a VIBE that you%26#039;re interested in a relationship.
Reply:I don%26#039;t think it%26#039;s weird...it%26#039;s actually really cute and sweet. It shows that you pay attention to her when she%26#039;s talking about the things she collects, and it also gives a small hint that you like her, which is perfect, in my opinion. I like the idea of adding a simple boquet of daisies (or whatever other flower you pick - just not roses)...I%26#039;m sure it%26#039;ll bring a smile to her face when she sees them. Good luck to you. :)
Reply:go for it. i%26#039;m sure it will work like u want it to.
Reply:NO thats not weird. I think it would be realy sweet and shows that you care about her as a friend and that you listen to her.
Reply:I think that would be a really great idea! If you know she will like it, then why not. It sounds like you%26#039;re crushing on her, in which case I would definetly get her the teddy bear and flowers. It doesn%26#039;t hurt to let her know how you feel, and I bet she will feel the same. you seem like a really sweety guy. Good Luck!
Reply:teddy bear holding a bouquet will be perfect.
Reply:That sounds like a thoughful gift. I%26#039;d leave it WITH A CARD too - sign your name to it. Take the guess work out of it for her.
Reply:Actually, the flowers are alot weirder than the teddy bear.
Reply:you should give that bear to her
Reply:You give her the bear and a bouquet of her favorite flowers! She will absolutely love it!
Reply:That sounds cute. Definitely go for it! Be sure to add a card saying something along the lines of I wish you a happy bday if you don%26#039;t want her to feel awkward. If you don%26#039;t specify why you got it for her, it may ruin your relationship.
Reply:that would be really nice .i mean if she kikes you(you think) then go for the cake man. give her the stuff. if yiu just give them a present they should love it and give you a nice bg hug.if its something she collects then thats even better.dont hide your feelings otherwise nothings going to happen
Reply:Absolutely. The most important aspect of giving a gift is thinking about what the recipient will actually enjoy. You have obviously given this some thought.
As an additional bonus, it will allow you to find out more clearly how she feels about you. By giving her the gift, you are giving her to opportunity to demonstrate her feeling for you. If she is not interested, you can simply play the gentleman giving a nice gift because you knew she would enjoy it.
If she is interested, you can then take the opportunity to explore more deeply your interest in each other.
Hope this helps.

Birthday Gift?
0k...my moms birthday is St. Patricks Day. I want to make her instead of just going to buy something. I don%26#039;t want to cook anything or buy flowers or do anything w/ pictures, I want to MAKE something special...come on somebodys got to have a bright idea!! :) THX!
Birthday Gift?
i do i do. GROW her something
Reply:Hire a %26#039;Leprachaun%26#039; to come %26amp; sing to her Happy Birthday
To make something? How about getting a 4 leaf clover %26amp; having it made embellished in a clear glass pendant---a jeweler can help.
Reply:What about being her %26quot;personal assistant%26quot; for the day. That%26#039;s what I tell the grand kids...but it just means you do EVERYTHING for her that day. Massage, paint toes, style hair, drive her around, change the channel, get her a cup of tea etc.....
Reply:a dvd of you and your family greeting her... wishing her.. and attach some other old clips of y%26#039;all
Reply:Not sure if you%26#039;ll like it, but for my friends birthday I got her a nice bottle of wine and some plain wine glasses.
On the wine glasses I used glass paints. I thought it looked really nice and there is more thought behind a made gift =)
Reply:I personaly like the shamrock lockets or but if you want something you can make that is easy? There are many kits to help you make things personal like a t-shirt that you have created saying like %26quot;My mom rocks shamrocks%26quot; idk something simple like that from you would still mean the world to her.

Is it ok to have flowers delivered to a grave?
My mom just passed away 4 months ago and today is her birthday. But I am studying abroad in another country and can%26#039;t visit her grave. I was really wanting to put some fresh flowers on her grave. Would it be strange to call a flouriest and have them deliver flowers to her grave? And if so..then what if they ask what to put in the card? Or will it have a card? I just really want to do something special but am having a hard time thinking what to do while 14,000 miles away. Also, what could I do for my dad to make this day easier?
Is it ok to have flowers delivered to a grave?
if they%26#039;ll deliver it and yah!thats sweet that even your far away you find a way to do something for your mom..By the way sorry to here that ..If it have a card then say %26#039;From your loving son you will always be remember%26quot; or just say %26quot;i love you and miss you%26quot;...For your dad just let him know that your there for him, family have to stick togethere speciallly in moments like this ,you might not be there physically but your heart is.just let him know you care and that you love him too...
Reply:I don%26#039;t feel it is necessary to put flowers on her grave. You can make the day more special by sending flowers to those people who loved her very much and may still be grieving (like your dad), in her memory. You will be celebrating her life with other people. On the card, you could include a memory of your mom, something like, remember the time she took us ice skating? Sharing memories of your mom together is the best way of honoring her on her birthday.
Reply:I work at a cemetery and yes we have had flowers delivered before, the florist will need to know what location in the cemetery your Mom`s grave is located but someone in the office should be able to help with that. I would send your Dad a special gift also. I lost my Dad in January and we took my Mom out to eat on Valentines Day and sent her some fresh flowers and I think it helped her alot on the first Valentine Day without my Dad. I am very sorry to hear about your Mom.
Reply:Most florists cannot do this for you, simply because it is SO difficult to find a specific gravesite in a cemetery. The only way it might work is if you can get the office at the cemetery to agree to accept the delivery and then have the flowers brought to the gravesite by someone from the cemetery. Another thought is to send the flowers to your dad, as this day is bound to be really hard for him. My sympathies to you both.
Reply:My condolences in your loss.It would be quite OK to have flowers sent to her grave site with a card saying In Memory ....and maybe a small bouquet also for Dad.You could ask the florist if they have gift cards for various services you could purchase also and send with the bouquet, which would be of some help or comfort to your Dad, letting him know you are thinking of him also. Many wire services offer many things like this now. My personal favorite is listed below.
Reply:Hi, we are a florist. It is not strange to deliver flowers to a grave. One of our customers does it every year, for the same reason you decribed (i.e., living too far away). The card message is %26quot;Happy Birthday...%26quot; We actually take a picture and email it to the customer.
It%26#039;s best if you know the lot number. If not, your florist should be able to find it out for you.
Reply:Aww, I%26#039;m sorry to hear of your recent loss. I think it%26#039;s a brilliant idea! Either that, or you could ask your Dad to put some flowers on her grave on your behalf. And I%26#039;m sure he%26#039;d appreciate a call from you on her birthday, just to say %26quot;Hi%26quot;
Reply:Firstly, sorry to hear about your mum%26#039;s passing. It is never easy to go through that nor is it easy to come up with a %26quot;good idea%26quot;. But do remember, even just thinking of them counts. Maybe, even though this may sound a bit weird, send the flowers to your dad to let him know you are thinking of him as well as your mum. As for your mum, it seems she%26#039;d already know that you are thinking of her and in your current situation, would understand why you haven%26#039;t gone and put flowers on the grave. Send a nice card to your dad too, maybe include something special that you three shared through the years, such as a holiday and how much it meant to you. Once you think he has recieved it (not that%26#039;d you%26#039;d know for sure), give him a call and ask if he has recieved it. As for the actual original question, I am not sure if they even deliver to graves...but...maybe your dad will go see you mum%26#039;s grave and do so on your behalf?

Birthday party help.?
I%26#039;m turning 13. I really want a smal party. I%26#039;m only inviting 4 of my closest friends and maybe one of my mothers friends.(she doesn%26#039;t have a daughter only a son so she will be up to do anything fun and girly.) I am VERY girly. I love flowers and all that stuff. I don%26#039;t want a dance party because I don%26#039;t want that many people at my party. I have a pretty tight budget. I was thinking of a tea party. I have drank tea before without and cream or sugar and it tasted o.k. and I don%26#039;t want to waste my mother and father%26#039;s money. I really like make-up and perfume and stuff. Especially the mall. I really don%26#039;t want anything crazy.Oh! My birthday is in May but I have to start planning now.
Thank You.
Birthday party help.?
i, personally, think that the best parties are the ones without themes. i have fun just doing random stuff. if you wanna decorate, do flowers and bright colors, cuz it%26#039;s getting into the spring-ish season. if you don%26#039;t know what to do for activities, make movies. or do remakes of like dramatic scenes in movies. you%26#039;d be surprised at how ridiculously hilarious they are when you watch them later. (i know i was)
Reply:why dnt u have a tea party with a few eats and get ur pals to bring round sum smellies make up and give eachother make overs? and get a girly dvd to watch
Reply:Okay, flowers, May, tea party..... how %26#039;bout a Churchill Downs, or Kentucky Derby party, where you make ladies hats! Everyone could bring %26quot;stuff%26quot; to make them with, flowers, glue,
beads, fabric, scarfs, bobbie pins, needle and thread, and a basic hat to decorate! Then you could have finger sandwhiches (of any kind), iced tea or lemonade, or have varieties of tea for everyone to try. And you may be able to pick some fresh flowers, especially violets and daffodils at that time. Vases of forsythia on the table would be nice?

Its my baby's 1st birthday in 3 wks but..?
It would of been my baby girls 1st birthday on the 27th of march but she sadly passed away last september aged 6 months due to a terminal illness. ive planted my little princess a pink rosetree as part of her memory and were going to take her a big bouquet of pink and white flowers to her grave.. but im not sure what else we can do in our beautiful baby%26#039;s memory for her 1st birthday .. it will be a really hard day for us but i want to celebrate it for my beautiful little angel. if anyone has any ideas of what i could do to celebrate her 1st birthday it would be much appreciated.
Its my baby%26#039;s 1st birthday in 3 wks but..?
My sister has a rose garden dedicated to her lost angel. She and her husband still plant a rose every year.
When my sister got pregnant again 7 years later, she and her husband planted a beautiful weeping willow in her memory. This tree wound up being the tree swing tree and a great climbing tree for both of their other 2 children.
I hope this is a helpful idea for a painful time.
Reply:I will be praying fo you, the others are right, you can get the balloons. I know your pain will never go away. God bless you
Reply:I feel so sorry for you - you have every right to break down as well as celebrate it is not fair!
The balloons are an excellent idea and just a day to think about and laugh and cry about your daughter and the valuable memories you do have. Raise a glass in toast to your angel. The balloons are an excellent idea - would you like to get a little toy to keep with her keepsakes or do you think this would be harder for you? Anything to make you feel better and celebrate the life you brought into this world. I also like the idea of donating to a charity , something connected to your daughter or the hospital that cared for her you can tell your friends and family they may like to contribute and feel uncomfortable about how to raise it for you. You could have a little memorial service for her in the way of a little get together to share memories.
I wish you all the best.
Reply:First of all I wanted to say sorry for your loss. I know it a hard time and I am feeling for you. Want you can do is donate some money to March Of dimes in her memory that would help the other babies.. I would get some balloons of pink and white and send it up to the sky. It would be coming to heaven.
Reply:Oh gosh that is so sad. What about letting off pink helium balloons with messages on? I went to a babys funeral and we done that, it was lovely. We all tied our own message and let them go at the same time. I am so so sorry for your loss xxx

Birthday gift for Grandma?
Today is Grandma%26#039;s birthday! She%26#039;s 92 years old! Woo Hoo! We%26#039;re having a family party for her this weekend, and my husband and I have no idea what to get her. If we ask, she%26#039;ll be adorable and say %26quot;Oh, I don%26#039;t need anything,%26quot; so what do you think? I was thinking about flowers, or maybe a potted plant that doesn%26#039;t need too much maintenance. Any suggestions? She doesn%26#039;t wear jewelry, just so you know. Thanks for your help!
Birthday gift for Grandma?
As people age they tend to shop less and get chilled more. A nice light sweater is always good. At this stage in life, we certainly don%26#039;t need more things so fresh flowers which can be seen as an extravagant treat will certainly brighten her day and not require her to maintain or store them later.
Reply:Pay her electric bill for one month. That would be a wonderful treat for anyone. Report It
Reply:My mother-in-law lived to be 92 and it was difficult buy her gifts because her needs were so limited. She always loved pretty clothes and appreciated something new to wear. Maybe you Grandma would appreciate a new outfit? Most of all she will enjoy having you there for her party. Have fun!
Reply:I think a nice blooming plant would be lovely. Lots of them do not take too much attention.
Reply:I guess it depends on what her living arrangements are?
If she is still at home, perhaps a scented candle -
Or a gift card to her favorite grocery store . . .
Always a nice card is appreciated - which she can look at, over and over (we tend to do that stuff).
Reply:i would say something like a nice warm blanket or a comfortable robe or something of the sort. the elderly like to be warm and comfortable.
Reply:How about a photograph of all the family together.
We did this just before my mother in law died and we are
so glad that we had that last photo of us all to remember.
She loved showing it off and used to call it the picture of her tribe.
Reply:Bed clothes. A bed jacket if she is so inclined but my guess and experience with our seniors is just what she says is true and enjoy making the fuss over the day and help to make sure everything is put in its place and she is not over tired. Bless you for the attention.
Reply:Maybe some soft cozy slippers, a bed jacket, or a nice soft lap blanket. Tell Grandma Happy Birthday.
Reply:I got my grandmother a beautiful tray on which to take her meals to the couch (to watch the television). If your gram eats in the same glamorous way (actually, as many seniors do), a pretty TV tray might be nice... My grandmother LOVES hers!
p.s. I found mine very reasonably at a Villeroy %26amp; Boch outlet
http://eshop.villeroy-boch.com/us/shoppi...
p.p.s. happy B%26#039;Day Grams!
Reply:Don%26#039;t let her blow out the candles ... help her please!
Reply:Am not 92 but here are a few things I would like......A .Digital Photo Frame with a slide show of my love ones.......It would be nice to see pictures on it from my youth, my parents up to the day of the party and including the party....I also like it when one of my grandchildren, sons or husband remembers to buy me a corsage......
Reply:I agree with CC good idea. For X-mas My Kids gave me a portrait of the 10 of them. I smile every morning when I look at them. My Grandchildren look so beautiful. My son and daughter the husband and wife, and my 6 little rag muffins. What a joy.
Reply:Something pretty to keep her warm, like gloves or a scarf. Seniors are always cold. The other thing is prepared food item that they can just heat or put into their microwave if they live at home. Otherwise some baked goods or treats that she would never buy for herself.
Reply:My grandma will be 90 next month I got her a silver keepsake box and had it engraved with %26quot;Happy 90th Birthday Grandma%26quot; Might try something like that
Reply:Do you have a video cam? Everyone go on the video giving Gran some birthday wishes, and perhaps telling of something special they remember sharing with her over the years.

What a joy.

i was thinking about a build-a-bear with a necklace around his neck for her to wear, and maby some flowers ? any sujections
Birthday gifts?
I personally like your idea of the build-a-bear with the necklace! And flowers are always a nice touch too!
Reply:Aww, that sounds sweet (stuffed animals and jewelry rock!) Maybe you could take her out to eat somewhere nice? Or you could set up a little picnic in your bedroom? OR you could run her nice hot bubble bath with little notes telling her where to go next THEN lead her to a picnic in ur bedroom or something? :p
Reply:Forget a girlfriend 11 years old wait until she becomes 16 at least don%26#039;t ruin her life that is a gift.
Reply:I like your idea.
OR you could book a day at the spa for both of you.
Dinner with flowers is nice.
Anything you pick will be great as long as she spends it with you I am sure she will be happy.
Best Wishes
Reply:that%26#039;s a good plan if you are gonna spend that kind of dough you should just go to kay jewelers and get her a nice heart pendant they have those for like 99.00 around this time of year and you can get insurance for about 7 extra dollars so that if a stone or anything falls out of it it will be replaced by the jeweler!! and any women loves diamonds! They are a girls best friend!!
Reply:build a bear is kind of cheesy
Reply:Sounds good to me. Don%26#039;t know how long she%26#039;s been your g/f or how old you both are... add a dinner date and a b-day cupcake and your all set.
Reply:Some sexy lingerie

Birthday present for my 3 month pregnant friend?
My friend who lives a couple of states away is going to celebrate her 27th. birthday next month. She is pregnent and I was wondering what I can send her for a gift. I%26#039;d like to send something funny, cute, and or practical. Remember, this will be sent threw the mail. Flowers are not an option. Thanks for the help!!!
Birthday present for my 3 month pregnant friend?
First off, what a nice friend you are to ask for advice on this. Its very thoughtful and I%26#039;m sure she%26#039;ll appreciate it. Send her a funky maternity top. Something non mom-ish. Or some new pjs. I loved new pjs. If she reads, a book. Once the baby is born, the only thing she%26#039;ll read for the next 4 years is %26quot;Goodnight Moon%26quot; and %26quot;Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See?%26quot;
Oooo..or a gift certificate for a pedicure - cheap one or a nice spa one. Another couple months and she won%26#039;t be able to reach her feet to rub the aches or to cut the toenails. Its a treat!
Reply:gift cards are very practical. or tickets to a movie and dinner. sorry no funny or cute.
Reply:There is a great website called
Euphoriamaternity.com
I got a great basket for a friend of mine with all sorts of pregnancy, birth and recovery items. She loved it and still uses a lot of the items even though it%26#039;s been 5 months!
Reply:Get her a gift certificate for 8 more months of pedicures. That will cover her through her pregnancy, and a few months after when she is still trying to feel good about herself.
Foot care gets harder and harder the more pregnant a gal is....I couldn%26#039;t touch my feet from 7 months onward.
Reply:Maybe a gift certificate to a spa
Reply:If she doesn%26#039;t have it already....Get her a gift set of %26quot;What to expect when you%26#039;re expecting%26quot; and %26quot;What to expect the first year%26quot;. I know Barnes and Noble sells them as a gift set online...Otherwise buy her a scrapbook, make her a page, put your picture on the back with a message to her and the baby, and mail her the blank book with your personalized page in it.

Ways to make my friends 14th birthday special..?
Alright, so i ordered her something already but it is not coming till a day after her birthday.
Her birthday is tomorrow.. and i want to know what to bring her...
like balloons, flowers?
Any other suggestions?
cupcakes are out of the question.. [ too late to cook]
I NEED IDEAS PEOPLE!
Thanks so much, i really appreciate it!
Ways to make my friends 14th birthday special..?
Make her a home-made card for her! It will mean so much more! Also, get her a %26quot;bouquet%26quot; of brithday balloons and get her flowers if you can afford them, (roses are usually the most expensive; get lilies or sunflowers or something...). Make her a single cupcake and decorate it with yummy frosting and rainbow sprinkles. Put a birthday candle in the center, light it, and let her Make a Wish! You could also promise her a shopping spree or a %26quot;Day at the Spa%26quot; at your house. Be creative, think smart (about budget), and have fun! =D
Reply:Get her a ballon, a single yellow (Stands for friendship and joy), and a card-either store bought or handmade. =]
Good luck!
Reply:get her a balloon and one rose:]
Reply:go here:

and order her a cute boquet of flowers..it will be delivered whenever you want her to. and the message in the card can say %26quot;meet me at ___%26quot;. Tell her to meet in the park or something and when she arrives take her to a nice restaurant.
Reply:give her a card and explain the situation, then when you get the gift, surprise her by going to her house at a really random time. like 5:30am and present your gift personally, that would make it really special to see how much you cared to do all this stuff to get her the gift.
