I%26#039;m looking for suitable present ideas for my Nan%26#039;s 90th birthday, my mum has suggested gift vouchers. I know that a lot of family members are buying flowers and pot plants and a few are giving her up to date photographs of the granchildren etc in nice frames.
I was thinking of a framed photograph of myself, as she has not got a resent one of me, but I%26#039;m graduating in a few weeks time, so she will recieve a photographs of the graduation.
Birthday present advice for my Nan%26#039;s 90th.?
Yeah. Your graduation photo will be a good option. She%26#039;ll be proud of you I%26#039;m sure. You could compile past pictures of you and her or the family and put in in a scrapbook. Write short notes and when you present to her, tell your stories and how you felt about those pictures. I%26#039;m sure when you guys reminisce about the past, you%26#039;ll come to appreciate the bond more. I wish you the best and God bless you all.
Take care.

Reply:just few hugs ,little respect %26amp; love her more
Reply:Give her a box of her favorite chocolates...
Reply:print some headed noteaper with a small photo of her on it. put stamps on envelopes then she can write short notes to her remaining friends, and not have to worry about stamps etc.
Reply:Make here an album of her life get photos from when she was younger off friends an family,. Write little stories about what she has done get people to tell you things she done compile it all . She will love this and it can be a heirloom keepsake after nan has gone for all to view. so future generations will know of her. A this is your life album.
Reply:Try putting together a picture album or scrapbook, document her life for her- pics of her kids... grandkids... whatever. Its the most thoughtful gift you could ever get her. You could also get everyone to write a note to her and include those in there as well. Have fun.
Reply:Poor old girl is probably yearning for a six pack, a pizza and a good film(!)
More photos of the sprogs - getting a bit boring now I would think.
How about a gorilla-gram!!
Give her a darned good laugh. Priceless.
Well - you did ask!
Reply:sounds like a great idea but by her something little as well like a pretty brooch.
Reply:could you get her a plaque to a %26quot;special Nan%26quot;. you can even get them saying %26quot;to a special Nan on your 90th%26quot; They usually have lovely words on them. Or even a personalised photo frame and explain that when you graduate she could put your photo in it? I%26#039;m sure she%26#039;ll love anything you give her. Tell her %26quot;Happy Birthday%26quot; from me x
Reply:leather gloves???????? thats what i bought my 86yr old gran for xmas last year..........
Reply:how about aming a scrap book of events in her life? or maybe just a scrap book of a different sort!
Reply:My great great aunt got a helicopter ride for her 80th and she loved it. Either that or a hot air balloon ride over the town where she lives. Bet that%26#039;s something she%26#039;s never seen in all her 90 years.
Reply:for my nans 80th i bought her a lady title, it cost under 20 pounds and it was unique, she loved it, i bought her a joke tiara with it and she was made up!
Reply:a ten year season pass for her favourite sport
Reply:sister, you know what will delight her most?
make her a DIY voucher, decorate it with ur own creativity and the best part is in the voucher, you write this %26quot;this is the voucher that ensures you got to see me popping in every month with the biggest smile you%26#039;ve ever seen%26quot;
what could delight a grandma better an assurance that she can see her grandaughter every month? elders easily feel lonely and they have always want companionship. Do this voucher and i ensure you she would be really touched. A gift that doesnt require money, but lots of love :)
Reply:a commode all old ladies need one eventually!
Reply:u could buy her an old news paper of the day she was born
Reply:Why not buy her a beautiful frame to put graduation photo in when she gets it- explain that%26#039;s what its for. A little box of treats- we used to do this for my nan and it went down well, as if your on your own and when your older generally you dont eat so much so choose some tiny versions of her fave foods, some trial size smellies, stuff like that is more thoughtful qnd useful than a grand gesture. Or if your short on money maybe a voucher to do her garden for her, make her a dinner or something that she would appreciate.
Reply:Well i can think of somthing to give my mother sice my nana passed away before i even bagan to live.So i would give her a pic of me and her and hugs and some chocolates. So what ever you want to give her
