Birthday Gift for My Friend - Would this be ok or weird? 10 pts for best answer!?

Greetings! I have a single friend that’s a girl, (I’m single too) whose birthday is coming up soon. We’re pretty good friends, but not best friends. She’s helped and been there for me through some stuff in my life.





She’s a farm girl and loves John Deere green farm stuff. She told me all about her J. Deere themed kitchen she has been collecting stuff for. She’s also got J. Deere stuff like lamps for her living room. She’s saving all this stuff for when she gets married. She loves telling me about what she’ll do when she gets married too! And I always tell her, I feel sorry for your future husband (she never says anything to this).


I found a nice stuff-your –own teddy bear that is J. Deere themed, and I’m sure she’d love it. It’s not very expensive. What I’m wondering is if it would be weird for a guy friend to to give a girl a teddy bear, and a simple spring bouquet of daisies, or simple flowers for her B-day? More details in a second!

Aweee flowers and a teddybear are the ultimate gift that says i care about you, and its not weird, its just a good friends kind fo thing you know? i think its sweet, and if she loves j deere stuff the teddy bear is PERFECT and simple flowers are just awesome, they kind of say i like you , and i think your great, dont go too fancy with the flowers cause the can give the wrong impression, good luck and im sure she%26#039;ll love it!!! =D

It shows that you pay attention to her when she%26#039;s talking about the things she collects, and it also gives a small hint that you like her, which is perfect, in my opinion. I like the idea of adding a simple boquet of daisies (or whatever other flower you pick - just not roses)...I%26#039;m sure it%26#039;ll bring a smile to her face when she sees them. As an additional bonus, it will allow you to find out more clearly how she feels about you. By giving her the gift, you are giving her to opportunity to demonstrate her feeling for you. If she is not interested, you can simply play the gentleman giving a nice gift because you knew she would enjoy it.





If she is interested, you can then take the opportunity to explore more deeply your interest in each other.
