Girlfriend Birthday ideas. Please help!!!!?

I%26#039;am 20 livin in Hollywood CA, i%26#039;ve datin my girl for 3 years now and her birthday is comin on june 19th. Every guy knows he has to top his last year present ex: Guy buys his girl roses and jelewry worth $100 next year he has to do better. Last year i got het Victoria Secret Card, flowers, necklace, and took her to a cabin by the lake and made dinner for her. I dont have any ideas for this year , please help

You just screwed yourself right in the ... with last year%26#039;s birthday. Man, young guys just dont know how to pace themselves these days! Not really.





Actually, as you get older you realize that this year doesnt have to top last year in expense, adventure, or extravagance, it just has to top it in thoughtfulness. 3 years is quite a bit of time. Take her somewhere sentimental, maybe your first date, some place she wishes she could always go, something she has always wanted to do.





If you cant get something for her, try something just outright romantic or adventurous. Obviously dont take your quite, romantic girlfriend on a Egyptian adventure, or your adventurous girlfriend somewhere quite and romantic. Skydiving, scuba diving, muff diving, just to name a few adventurous birthdays.





Seriously, stay away from the jewlery. What are you gonna get her on your 5th anniversary, a plane?

Reply:You DON%26#039;T HAVE to top everything every year. its pratically not possible. i mean last year u tak her to a cabin, then hotel, then worlds #1 hotel, then where do u take her thats better? YOU CANT. my advice: cook dinner for her (chix luv that), a few flowers (not to many) and a giftcard to somewhere.
Reply:Make her a birthday card. You will be absolutely stunned by the sentimentality( of such). The whole outlook of this is such: You took the time to construct,write,fold,color,write,simulat... etc. instead of a half-assed/forgotten last minute birthday card. Forgo an expensive gift/dinner, or both, which you will be %26quot;put-out%26quot; by after wards. We do not want that. Especially when you despise us for having to spend so much $ on us for our own self worth. (independent girls = less burden)

Why not do something fun like swim with the dolphins in the daytime and visit and rescue site for sea creatures. Then at night take her out to swanky restaurant like The Belair in Beverely Hills. Check it out first we were there 35 years ago on our honeymoon, so I don%26#039;t even know if it%26#039;s still open!





A helicoptor ride would be fun and exciting. Then go have a picnic somewhere.

Reply:dude, you did way too much for her last year and you%26#039;re wrong in the sense that you have to keep topping it. i have a lot of girls as friends and they always tell me that they%26#039;d rather their boyfriends did something special than to spend money on them. istead of the gift card, you could have taken her to pick something out, like a shopping spree. and instead of buying flowers, you could have picked some. the necklace was overboard. think of something fun and exciting that you can experience together...someone mentioned sky diving. i was going to suggest the same thing--she%26#039;ll never forget it and it%26#039;ll cost way less than last year. or take her to vegas...you%26#039;re too young too gamble, but you can still have a lot of fun. maybe, you can rent a boat for the weekend and organize it so her friends all go with her to the lake to celebrate her birthday. be creative, it%26#039;s not how much you spend it%26#039;s the experience. good luck
Reply:Be romantic, Take her to a local Hotel thats all posh and stuff. Find out her birth stone and buy her a ring with it. Have flowers ready, chocolates. (Since everything has to be better next year, don%26#039;t make this too good for next year!).
